Self Referential Short Story
I sat down at my computer. I was going to do it. I was going to undertake upon myself a new literary experiment, mission, or whatever you want to call it. I was going to make Math jump out of its skin, I was going to make logic devour its spine, I was going to make tautology commit suicide.
I sat at my computer and typed the previous paragraph of this short story. I then typed the previous sentence and this sentence. Then I typed that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that sentence. Then that
Catch-Left 4 Dead
Chapter 1: the Survivors
The four survivors sat in a car, which hopped along a lonely, isolated, desert road that was surely feeling left out by not able to be around the other desert roads, which were all probably out having fun and drinking, of which this desert road would not be a part of. And it had no one to blame but the Government for that, because it had collapsed under the surprisingly heavy swarm of flesh which caressed and squeezed it's way through Washington and ate all the officials in the manifestation of zombies, and the because the Government officials were all dead or clinging on to dear life in a dilapida

A rose
Reflects in the puddle of memories
As a small pedal whithers away.

"So, what else about this dream?"
"Don't worry about it Hank. It was nothing."
"Really, dreams about the past with strange contraptions is nothing? Can't wait to see something..."
"Look, you don't have to be so cynical."
"What was cynical about that? Sarcasm? Wow, I truly apologize Carol," at this, he slowly rolled his eyes.
"See, just like that," Carol muttered in low, fast speech.
As the morning continued on, there was a dull mood. From sour attitudes, Hank and Carol's mouths remained keyed closed. Slow ticks and tocks in their heads traveled them

Dear Modern Man,
All your thoughts are coming to get you,
Get in the school and lock the door.
Listen to the ones at the front of the line,
The left side of your head is three times the right.
Now careful, I expect every move to be impressive.
Earth left it to us to prepare life for you.
Do this for what makes the world go 'round,
Then buy all the best boxes in town.
Sincerely,
The General Public

The Black Hole Satan Duck
Capt. Marlin James Ottoman Brando was reeling through space in his one man space ship, The Isotonic Solution, when he couldn't help but notice that he was no longer in space, but instead a red box. There was no evidence of him moving, since there were no stars whizzing by, or no other objects in view to gauge movement, and due to his ship's superior technology, he was never subjected to the force of the ship's own movement, for surely otherwise he would've blacked out.
Capt. Marlin James Ottoman Brando was undeniably perplexed by the incident, and could not discern any reason as to why he would be trapped in a red box. Although, at the time
